Indonesia is a meritime country which is positioned it’s self between two continent, where is Asia continent in the north west and Australia in the south. The position it self dominating, how importent it rule in the regional, especially among the south east asia contries. In the year of 1928, the Indonesian youth’ organization declared to the international that we have :
1.having one native country, Indonesia.
2.belonging to one nation, the Indonesian Nation,
3.having one language of unity, the Indonesian language.
The then national song, introduced to the youth congress, stressing the call for unity among Indonesian, became soon popular. The song had realy implanted Indonesia’s national consciousness among the population all over the archipelago. This song was carried out in bahasa Indonesia. Eventhought we have a lot of islands which consist of 17.600 islands, big and small one, populated or not, all of them speak in the national’s language that is bahasa Indonesia. So, it is obvious that every one who want to visit indonesia’s country should know bahasa Indonesia. By knowing it you will not be facing any problem in the future of your visit. See you then.
